Soft to the Bone began in 2002 - back in the days of the old internet, when you could post an email address on a web page and still be able to cope with the resulting spam - that was a long time ago. Sadly, the site became a victim of it’s own success… it took a lot of time and effort to update and generally manage the site - far more than was originally thought. The site was forced to close after a couple of years owing to this fact (though can be found still to this day in the great nternet archive), but here, in 2008, the technology is here and easy enough to use for us to return with far less time consuming content management.

Jeff and Bar decided upon The Bone a few years back, but lost their motiation a year in. Over wine and a fire and much debate on ethical thought and practices, they decided they had a way that was alternative, full-on but yet also reasonable and adaptable.. and what can you do with all that when you know you don’t belong to one particular thing! Later they were joined by the wonderful Nessa.  In a sense you could say, Soft to the Bone is the world according to Bar, Jeff and Nessa since the word ‘Ethical’ itself pertains to any given philosophy driven by a set of morals and what those morals represent is defined on an individual or collective view.

Since The Bone was started, Vanessa has died and now Krissie and Willow have come on board, breathed life into it all and are actively thwacking everybody to get going again. We might actually achieve something this time

So, without further ado … This is Soft to the Bone v2.
